Syllabus
This program is structured around four essential parts:
Ce programme s’articule autour de 4 volets essentiels :
- The first is an introduction to Rainwater Harvesting and its best practices: We will present definitions of the RWH, its techniques in a context of climate change.
- The second part concerns rainwater harvesting in rural areas: We will present methods of micro-capture and macro-capture in rural areas.
- The third part discusses rainwater harvesting in urban areas: We will present harvesting methods using roofing and buildings. We will also shed light on their classification. We will finally present a strategic approach for sustainable and optimal management of these techniques.
- The fourth part is dedicated to Pilot Projects: we will present a few projects designed and carried out in the Kingdom of Morocco to consolidate your understanding through examples and practice.
Ce programme s’articule autour de 4 volets essentiels :
- Une Première partie d’Introduction à la Collecte et à la valorisation des eaux pluviales CEP et aux pratiques de gestion optimales (PGO).
- Ou on présentera des définitions de la CEP, des PGO et le pourquoi de ces techniques dans un contexte de changement climatique.
- Une deuxième partie réservée à la Collecte et valorisation des eaux pluviales en milieu rural. Nous présenterons des méthodes de collecte par micro-captage et par macro-captage en milieu rural.
- Une troisième partie sur la collecte et valorisation des eaux pluviales et pratiques de gestion optimales en milieu urbain. Dans cette partie nous présenterons, les méthodes de collecte par toiture et les PGO en milieu urbain ainsi que leur classification. Nous vous proposerons aussi une approche stratégique de gestion durable et optimale des ouvrages.
- Une quatrième partie dédiée aux Projets pilotes. Ou l’on présentera des projets pilotes conçus et réalisés au Royaume du Maroc afin de faire des allers-retours entre la théorie à la pratique.
Prerequisite
- Under-Graduate level understanding of hydraulic engineering and buildings will be requested to review some content and complete some assignments
- Quelques notions d'ingénierie hydraulique et des bâtiments sera demandée pour comprendre certains contenus et de réaliser certains exercices.
