Syllabus

From this course, you will:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of existing and emerging energy technologies (Fossil Fuel, Power Plants, Fuel Cells, Nuclear, Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Biomass Hydroelectric Power & Ocean Energy) and their applications.
  • Know strategies and challenges of energy security and social justice for resource-poor countries, such as an island region of Taiwan.
  • Become aware of pros and cons of energy technologies, and be able to make personal choices for selecting the most desired energy.
  • Understand guidelines for future careers or advanced education in energy-related fields.
