The Institut Mines-Télécom is a major public player in higher education, research and innovation in the fields of engineering and management.

It is made up of 10 Mines and Télécom grandes écoles under the supervision of the Minister for Productive Recovery (Mines Albi, Mines Alès, Mines Douai, Mines Nantes, Mines ParisTech, Mines Saint-Etienne, Télécom Bretagne, Télécom École de Management, Télécom ParisTech, Télécom SudParis) and two subsidiary schools (Télécom Lille and Eurecom). Coursera is a digital company offering massive open online course founded by computer teachers Andrew Ng and Daphne Koller Stanford University, located in Mountain View, California. 

Coursera works with top universities and organizations to make some of their courses available online, and offers courses in many subjects, including: physics, engineering, humanities, medicine, biology, social sciences, mathematics, business, computer science, digital marketing, data science, and other subjects.
