Syllabus

Prerequisite

None.

Sciences Po is an institution of higher education and research in the humanities and social sciences that devotes 35% of its budget to research.
Founded in 1871, it has been training tomorrow's leaders for 140 years, in the private sector as well as in senior administration, politics and research.
Sciences Po is highly international: of its 12,000 students, 46% are international students from over 150 countries. Sciences Po invests in social responsibility and makes social and cultural diversity a key component of its identity. 27% of eligible students receive grants at Sciences Po. The figure was 6% in 2000.

Sciences Po contributes to public debate through its research and the variety of debates and conferences it organises each year.
For the past ten years or so, Sciences Po has been working to integrate digital tools into its teaching (shared workspaces, eCourses, Moodle, online Cartothèque, mapping of controversies, Forccast project, etc.) and has therefore naturally taken an interest in the format offered by MOOCs and the new possibilities offered in terms of educational innovation.
