HEC Paris is a French business school founded in 1881, managed and financed by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
It is part of the HEC Group, an administrative structure created by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) in 1970, under the name Centre d'enseignement supérieur des affaires, to bring together the École des hautes études commerciales, the Institut supérieur des affaires (ISA) and the Centre de formation continue. The Centre de perfectionnement aux affaires de Paris became part of the HEC Group in 1999. The HEC Group offers a range of courses in management and entrepreneurship, including the traditional competitive Grande Ecole programme leading to a Master of Science degree, specialised Masters, MBAs, Executive MBAs, doctorates and professional certification courses (CESA).
