  • Week 1 - Basic Principles of Finance and Risk Management
    In this module, Professor Shiller introduces portfolio diversification, supporting financial institutions, and discusses the opportunities and vulnerabilities of risk management institutions. Guest speaker: Maurice "Hank" Greenberg
  • Week 2 - Efficient Markets versus Behavioral Finance
    In this module, Professor Shiller teaches about efficient markets, behavioral finance and the role of the psychology. Guest speaker: David Swensen
  • Week 3 - Debt versus Equity
    In this module, Professor Shiller discusses the theory of debt, its proper role, and leverage cycles. He also covers corporate stocks. Guest Speaker: Laura Cha
  • Week 4 - Real Estate, Regulation and Enterprise
    In this module, Professor Shiller teaches about real estate, misbehavior, regulation, and self-regulation. Guest Speaker: Carl Icahn
  • Week 5 - Forward Futures and Options Markets
    Professor Shiller presents forward, futures, and options markets. Guest Speaker: Andrew Redleaf
