Syllabus

  • Introduction : Les attendus du MOOC - Présentation d'une profession
  • Semaine 1 : Découverte et perspectives du Caoutchouc : A quoi sert le caoutchouc ? Son histoire, Son Avenir (Contexte réglementaire, filière de revalorisation, les applications et technologies du futur).
  • Semaine 2 : L’ADN du Caoutchouc : Qu’est-ce qu’un élastomère ? Sa chimie, les grandes familles d’élastomères : le caoutchouc naturel et les caoutchoucs synthétiques
  • Semaine 3 : Devenir du caoutchouc de la matière au produit fini (Partie 1) : La conception du plan client, la simulation du comportement de la matière et l’élaboration d’une formule.
  • Semaine 4 : Devenir du caoutchouc de la matière au produit fini (Partie 2) : La transformation : le mélangeage, le moulage, l’extrusion et procédés spéciaux (calandrage, confection d’un pneu, adhérisation, alvéolaires).
  • Conclusion : Travailler dans la filière du caoutchouc, partenaires et bibliographie

The IFOCA (National Institute for Training and vocational rubber) is a private school founded by industry to ensure the training of specialists in the formulation, characterization and processing of rubber.

The IFOCA has an initial training department and a training department. The initial training department prepares for bin level of higher education + 3 (Professional Degree), bac + 5 (Engineers) and bac + 6 (post-engineer Specialization).
The continuing education department offers courses to the card (thirty registered in 2015 catalog) and customized training programs tailored to the specific needs of companies.
Furthermore, this department ensures the preparation of the Certificate of Specialization in Computer (NAPT) and the CAP and BP rubber. The IFOCA is located on the site of the French Center of rubber and polymers, which comprises:

- Laboratory research and control of rubber and plastic (LRCCP) partner since January 2008 Cetim (Technical Centre for Mechanical Industries)

- A professional organization, the National Union of rubber and polymers (SNCP)

- And a foundation FDCA (coutchouc Foundation)
 
The technology center has a wide range of processing equipment and testing (1800 m2 and 1300 m2 of laboratory workshops) and includes 70 people with complementary specialties: chemists, mechanics, rheologists, formulators, engineers calculation, environmental specialists , economists, lawyers ...
The IFOCA also has an antenna on the IUT campus of Nantes / Carquefou that welcomes students preparing professional license option rubber.
